Mistakes

Life is about making mistakes.

Mistakes...

Milkshakes? Miss Teik's? Miss steaks?

Otherwise... why is there so much fear in this word? Why do we hate to make mistakes?

Happy little mistakes - like those about which Bob Ross talks.

This is why I always liked drawing. You don’t think about mistakes when you play. Cause this is what you do with the pencils, paints, pens... anything really.

Nobody ever told me that I’m drawing wrong when I was a kid. That's why I never stopped.

In fact, everyone was excited and just let me do it, or rather, I just did it somehow cause it was fun.

Hours upon hours. Printed excel spreadsheets of my father’s office to notebooks, and albums and just huge blocks of paper bought for me so that i draw, And I used all of them.

Sometimes mom would bring draft papers from the office with building schemes and letters and all kinds of sensitive? as they would say today information and I would draw on those. I would get very angry if they had little white space on them. I drew EVERYWHERE. On everything. Even with in the air.

Ever painted with your finger in the air?

Try it. With your index finger as an imaginary brush, try to draw smth. A house? A sun? A cloud?

That’s what I would do. As a 6 yo. Drawing a house, a cloud, and the sun. And the sun was always smiling.

Always. Even if it was a really creepy smile.
