As a kid, I used to spend a lot of time by myself: looking through books (of course, pictures!), watching cartoons and then drawing fiercely the characters, inspired by them, as if trying to continue the story (not everything has to end!), playing by myself & telling stories...

Telling stories was - and is - my favorite game.

The best part - I never needed an audience to do that. I felt perfectly fine sitting by myself, drawing cartoons and narrating out loud (or in my head) what was going on in the picture.

Sometimes I would sing along. Sometimes I would make up a song.

All that was so intuitive and non-forced, I actually cannot recall now when was the moment I wrote my first story. Perhaps, in school, and perhaps, it was horrible.

I do remember though that once I ended up writing a 200+ pages fan fiction about the anime characters I liked + those that I created on their basis.

No one read it. NOBODY. EVER. Even my mom. Myself even, I don't recall reading it from end to end after I finished it (or not) and even had it printed and laminated by my mom.

I will talk a lot about her in this blog, so get ready. Or leave.

But what if I could tell the same story in a fewer sentences? Less words?

Cut it short: 200 pages / less words in a story = more stories.

Enough to make up a blog. Or a book.

While doing it as effortlessly as breathing. Playing with words.

My previous blogging attempts lasted for a bit and never went on to live on, which is once again proves the adage "nothing is permanent".

How about consistency though?

Since I started to do journaling, morning pages, taking notes "hollistically", literally anytime and anywhere I am it became clear that not thinking too much about writing bu doing it on a whim, intuitively and emotionally is what keeps my ball(pen) rolling, lol. And I've been doing so for about half a year - which are ages for someone disorganized, messy and spontaneous like me. (*Tap tap on my shoulder)

My average journal notes range from about 200 to 600 words which is... short.

So why not write emotionally, intuitively and holistically online? Or rather, why publish it online?

See, I'm not placing hopes of getting 1000+ subscribes. As I said, I don't need an audience.

But I do need a space to let it all out. Let it go. Give away some of that deep feels that otherwise would blow up inside.

It is less painful to put it out than to put it in my head.

So, I write. Cut it short. Making changes, poco a poco.

So, sit back, relax, tune in, turn in, drop out or do whatever.

Wait on, and I will tell you what this jazz is all about.

If you are here, it means we both are in the right place.

Enjoy.
